Through an experimental process of using and combining different materials, implementing a variety of weave structures, and treating the work in unconventional ways after removal from the loom, new worlds of textures and expressions are developed. This hands-on process provides incredible creative insight and inspiration, since it allows thoughts and ideas to evolve, and often results in ideas to develop in totally new and surprising directions.
